Onsite computer services

Onsite computer services are available 7 days a week, from 9am to 7pm. You can make an advanced booking, and an engineer will visit you in conveninet for you time. Our onsite services include computer system optimization, operating system restoration, wireless network installations, network diagnostics, virus removal, memory upgrades, etc. A minimum booking time of 2 hours apply, as every subsequent hour is charged separately. We do not charge travel time, and we do not have a call-out charge. Please take a minute to read our terms and conditions for more details.

Remote computer services

By using our remote assistance service, you can receive immediate IT support, whitout even getting out of your seat in front of the computer and without the presence of a technician at your premises. Data recovery

Losing information due to a hard drive failure is one of the most annoying experiences you may have. We do not realise how dependent on our computers are we, until a hard drive crashes and leaves us without our most precious photo memories, music files and work documents. To prevent this from happening, Laptopa advises you to backup all your important data on a regular basis. For all the rest of you, who happened to have a bitter experience and now need to recover their data – we are here to help.

Hardware and software support

The engineers at Laptopa repair netbook computers, laptops (notebooks), desktop computers, barebone PCs, as well as Apple Macs. We provide hardware and software support (onsite and in our workshop) for most operating systems - Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, various editions of Linux and Mac OS. The services we provide include motherboard replacement, memory and processor upgrades, power supply replacement, laptop power jack repair, laptop power socket repair, operating system repair, restoration and disaster recovery, data recovery, data retrieval from damaged laptop, netbook or desktop computer, laptop screen and keyboard replacement, etc. A 3 month warranty is issued with every service; if the computer is brough to our workshop in Finchley, N3 we'll diagnose it for free!
